Behind the camera

Jose Madera’s interest in photography began in 2000 when he became a father. The desire to capture images of his newborn drove him to take his first photography class without imagining where this path was going to take him. After a little while he was hooked, embracing photography as his new passion and profession. Two years later Jose had his first professional experience working for a magazine focused on nightlife and social events. Soon after Jose began studying Communications to become a photojournalist, in 2004 he became a member of the Primera Hora newspaper as freelance photographer.
